My nephew is in foster care since my sister passed away last year. my husband & I are looking into bringing him to live with us and our 2 kids. You'll need it in legalese in the UK to be allowed to take him, and you'll need a visa in Aus for him to be able to stay. If you get stuck send me a PM and i can point you towards my immigration lawyer, he's a practising lawyer in both countries and may be able to advise.
