A perhaps suitable alternative - call up HM revenue and they will issue you something called a Letter of Employment (or something like that!) they will know exactly what you mean. You can choose when it starts and it will detail your start date/finish date/total earnings/tax paid etc for every job within the period you specify
jameskristie
i wonder is that admissible as proof to TRA instead of p60's or payslips?
betterskierthanthewife
Weird, I've been on the phone just earlier trying to get hold of this info for my case officer. I spoke to a company I haven't worked for in over 6 years and they said they'd be able to provide me copies of payslips and a statement of earnings in lieu of P60s. Minch23
i wonder is that admissible as proof to TRA instead of p60's or payslips? Yes, you can use evidence from the Inland revenue and even from the national insurance archives as proof of employment depending on how far back you need to go for the TRA. nic1171
You need to contact the National Insurance office, they will provide your whole working history. The tax office can only go back 5 years.
