jac2011
I think I read recently it can be paid on a debit card so if the money is in your account that should be ok.
kulwant
By having said that "Ï don't have a card" means a debit card as well as a credit card. normally in India if I would like to pay 4 lacs INR using my debit card I need at least 8 Lacs INR volatile in my account. I am trying to avoid that situation because all money I have in my account is in Fixed deposits and not volatile.
Jupiter19
I heard that you can get something like a Traveler card in India, and the bank will issue the card quickly. You can pay for a visa with it.
jac2011
Sorry, I did not notice you were not in the UK. I hope you manage to fathom out the situation, I am sure there are plenty of others on here who have been through the same dilemma. Good luck and congratulations on your potential move.
