seek1 Posted November 12, 2013 Share Posted November 12, 2013 I am in Melbourne on 457 expiring May-2015 as an ICT Manager. Recently I lost my job after 15 months of continuous employment. Overall completed 22 months of employment with two separate companies. In the mean time, I applied to ACS as ICT Project Manager as VIC sponsorship is available for this profession. I am 43 years, Industrial Engineer with close to 20 years into IT and having score of 6.5 in IELTS. What options are available for immigration? Rupert Posted November 12, 2013 Share Posted November 12, 2013 You would need to look into skilled migration (189, 190 or 489 visas) or finding another employer sponsor. You seem to know something about this options so I won't go into too much detail for risk of saying things you already know. Do you have specific questions? One observation based on your first post, is that as a 43 year old you might need to retake IELTS to get a higher score and points for skilled migration.
