Petals
Suggest you have a look to see where you are likely to get a job. Article in Melbourne paper recently said we have too many radiologists and lots are looking for work. Google should be able to give you the authorities for for qualifications needed. Petals
Sorry I was talking about radiographers so may not apply to you. There is a thread for Doctors on this forum have a look at it and post in it and someone may be able to assist you. Also contacting the Australian Medical Association may assist as well. roger2shirts
Dr Radiologists shouldn't have a problem. Contact AHPRA and the AMA and then an agent - I'd recommend Bill Rose. http://www.anglia.com.au
BertieBear
Radiology is rapidly being outsourced to overseas services that can provide cheap 24/7 reporting. I think a lot of smaller and more rural hospitals use this system now. I know it is a competitive field and PRs/citizens get preferential employment. Check out AHPRA and RANZCR for details.
