ChrisMagoo
Wasn't entirely sure where to post this but please redirect me if there is a more suitable forum section for this I am moving to Oz in about 4 weeks and was wondering what the deal with Xbox 360 and Games was. Generally my two questions are: 1) Will my Xbox work properly on an Australian TV 2) Will Australian games work properly on my English Xbox 360 Thanks in advance

gwolst77
Games will work fine (classed as the same region a the UK) A TV is a TV as long as it has an HDMI socket it will work fine. The only issue you have regarding TV's is tuning them as the Aussie wavebands are different to the UK. Apparently if you change your TV's broadcast region to Germany it should pick Aussie TV stations. I use Foxtel for TV so everything comes via that set top box anyway in my house
janice1uk
Our Xbox works fine with games bought here in oz.
Guest GeorgeD
Yup, xBox works fine in Oz, runs UK and Oz games. Will connect to an OZ TV visa HDMI An Oz xBox Live subscription will work with a UK xBox. My xBox doesn't play OZ DVDs, but this really isn't a problem or a reason not to bring it...if you need a DVD player, you can buy on in oz for $20...I've paid significantly more for HDMI cables. Bring it, and all your games.
