Fryertuck Posted July 29, 2013 Share Posted July 29, 2013 Hi all. I am a Senior Construction Project manager, in Queensland on permeant resident visa living in Brisbane. Was made redundant 6 weeks ago along with the whole construction site and been looking for a new job. Brisbane is who you know not what and the job market is dead. I have certification, I've win awards in construction at all levels, I worked on the London Olympics, prince 2 trained and going for my PMP certification, but can I get a job in Brisbane not for the life of me and its driving me nuts. Anyone know any contacts please drop me a line and please don't believe the thing that Australia is working its not, unemployment is going thou the roof, 5.7% they say never try 13% in Qld.
