rossendale
I'm 40 in November so currently 39 and can get 25 points for age. I got my ielts results today and that's 20 points. A positive skills assessment will give me another 15 points. That will add up to the 60 I need. My question is should I apply with my 60 points knowing I may take longer to be invited but be safe in the knowledge that the application is secure or risk including 10 years teaching experience teaching 11-16 year olds which may not be sufficient because a secondary school teacher in Australia teaches 15-18 year olds. It would give me additional 15 points if all goes well but I could end up loosing the money I pay for my visa if they decide my experience is not good enough. Could anyone advise me? Guest dugles
Hi, If you think your claimed against the factors to which you are on or corssing 60 , is high enough. No worries than all. Submitt your EOI sonner to get the invite eventually. Sooner or later you will definately be invited. Regarding work exp. no matters to age class you are teaching in your country,However it must be secondary class teaching. But if you have 60 points then I advise not to claim points for that, Because most of application got refused or withdrawn later on this work exp. issues or points related to this specific issue. Go ahead and Cheers
rossendale
Thanks Duglas. I think you're right. I've noted a lot of refusals have been related to anomalies with work experience!
