Guest mixedmarriage
Hi, I am Australian (having lived in the UK for 8 years) and my husband is English and we are returning/going to Melbourne probably indefinitely in February. We are in our thirties so not thinking of drawing on any pensions at this stage, however we are not sure (a) what we should be reading up on generally (b) whether there is anything we should be doing before we leave the UK in Feb (tax implications?); and © whether because one of us is Australian already things are different and we need specialist advice (from Australia? or the UK?). Our pensions are: 1 x £120K employer pension (defined contribution) 1 x £30K personal pension plan 1 x AU$40K super fund (already in Australia) 1 x £20K employer pension (final salary until you exit) 1 x £4K former employer pension General advice and/or referrals welcome! mixedmarriage
