Guest guest67442 Posted October 28, 2012 Share Posted October 28, 2012 Hi everyone We had our 175 granted back in May but are not quite ready to make the move yet, so we've booked a trip over Christmas and the new year to travel to Oz and validate our visas. We're really interested in Tas so we've set aside 2 weeks to come take a look around. We're favouring the Kingston/Kettering south of Hobart general area so we're thinking of basing ourselves there for a week and then a week perhaps in a campervan doing a quick tour of the rest of the island after that. Can anyone recommend some self catering accommodation for that first week? Could be anywhere in that general area really, just a good base to go exploring and something that would give us a reasonable idea of what it might be like to live there, (i.e. not looking for a hotel) For the second week, any tips for itinerary and places we shouldn't miss?
