I just got an 190 invitation :notworthy:after 14 months of paperwork . Excited and lots of detail questions. To begin with: I currently life in the US for a job and my boyfriend is working in Australia on a 457. We are unmarried and have been together 7 years and he has been here with me until March of this year. We have shared accounts and records having lived together for 7 years. Should there be any problem to prove our relationship? Will his current 457 visa (i am not included in this visa but we were together on 2 other 457s) be affected in any way (he will be the secondary applicant)? Can he stay in Australia even if i am not there in the beginning? Any experience yet with processing times for 190 (officially 6 months)? I still have an Australian account but no local credit card.
