Annoisa Posted July 20, 2012 Share Posted July 20, 2012 Hi All, I am resident of an Asian country, i planned in 2007 to migrate to Australia.I hired a company in Melbourne to get my immigration process started.Within few months this company get the whole amount from me they get my qualification approved from VETASSESS and got state sponsorship letter from south Australian dept. As i was in Sub class 5 so that keep us waiting for 3-4 years and now what they say is that our nominated occupation is not in the list thus we are not eligible. Mean while my lawyer confirmed me that any change in SOL will not effect my application... i am so depressed after wait of so many years. Can any one help. what i can get from my lawyer now? Regards, Hey, I m from India and got SS from SA as Office Manager, applied on 30th June,2009. My occupation is also removed from SOL of both State and centre, so me too on the same boat as u. But we all are eligible as at the time of application our occupation was on list. My agent is also from Melbourne and is suggesting to wait. And one other thing, in April DIAC updated that they started processing of SS Cat 5, and indeed processed some. On 1st, July 2012 they said they will continue processing as such. And again all Family Sponsored and visa 175 cat 5 got DIAC mail to wait, but SS 475 cat 5 haven't, so I think they are gonna process 475 cat 5. Gud Luc to u too. Hi Kurangi, Thanks for any news but my problem is that my lawyer wants to change my application i mean sub class she is not asking me to wait as such and i don't want to change application as it will incur again a lot amount too which i can't bear due to my studies fees etc nowadays.
