Andrew from Vista Financial
Hi Kate Just noticed post. It will depend on lender and type of product you are on now. It may be possible to just do a product switch.
Petals
Any change in mortgage has to be with new documentation usually, there are different terms etc. Lots of different forms. In my experience, the banks love people to change banks, change accounts as money follows for the bank in fees for doing it. Even with variation of mortgage still has to be lodged at the Titles Office etc, costs again.
Andrew from Vista Financial
Not all. It's even possible with a phone call in some cases, sure there might be a form to sign but it is not necessarily an onerous task in all cases. Depends on lender and product as to process and costs.
