Aussieange Posted May 8, 2012 Share Posted May 8, 2012 Hi there - you all seem like a lovely knowledgeable bunch, so thought I'd ask for some advise before I give birth to kittens! I'm extremely lucky to have an employer in Sydney to sponsor me over, and they have paid for a migration agent in Melbourne to act on their behalf. I accepted the job and sent my visa application (along with a myriad of certified documentation!) about 3 months ago. Things are very very quiet, and all the migration agent will tell me is that the standard business sponsorship application is still processing, and will let me know when they are in a position to submit my visa. TBH it's stressing me out a bit, I know it may take longer than normal as they haven't sponsored before, but I feel a bit in limbo and helpless. I rang the Australian Commission in London this morning and they said the status of the sponsorship was "insufficient information".
