Great thx Maria, So can you explain or do you know the next step's i would take ? As from what I have read I would then need to go through the process as if i am applying for a visa of some sort as if I was an immagrant ? Or am I wrong on that. Its so hard to follow as there seems to be some many variations when looking amongst the websites, like my skills ( which seemed immigrants for visas only ) Trades recognition I can't seem to find answers on.Are you able to point me in the correct direction ? I should mention but it maybe obvious I am not the most savvy on computers ! Many thx Andy

Hi, And thank you for any help. It is very much appreciated. Now I know I am not in UK but I am really hoping there is someone on here that can help me. I am Aussie by birth, have current passport and have lived in Canada for 20 years. Now relocating back home with my wife and 2 kids.After endless searching and being sent to various government websites with no actually answers besides being told to go to this link and that link and basically nothing gives me any answers. I have a 4 year apprenticeship and 11 years in the trade as a tradesman. Experience from Cabinets, steel stud framing, timber house framing, Custom door and jamb making and install, suspended ceilings and much more as we know its a huge trade which many areas within the trade itself. Do i need to get this AQF111 certificate and pay up to $3000 ? Are there any other options ? All the info I come across is for folks immigrating which I am not as all ready am a citizen. I just can't for the life of me figure out what i am mean to do anyhow to go about it, besides having to pay as much money as it cost me to get my trade when i went to school for 4 years. Now these days i couldn't pass a written exam for the life of me so it kinda makes me stressed as what's involved. I was told at some stage, without any certificate recognized by Australia the I cannot work for myself or apply to any council or government jobs. Can anyone help me out here.
