  1. Hi Marisa, not completely figured it out yet but I believe applying for a subclass 400, temporary work (short stay specialist) visa would be the way to go. As I would be contracting to my own UK company and filling a void in the labour market over here I believe that is a possibility.
  2. Hi There, I plan on moving back to UK in June. I am currently in direct employment and able to work as I am a de facto on my partners 482 visa. I have the opportunity to leave my current employment and see out my final 4 months contracting into a Australian company. My partner is leaving in April therefore the visa will end then. As i am moving back to the UK in June i think that setting up a UK business and being paid for my services into that account whilst contracting in Australia will be the best approach. My plan moving forward will be to continue contracting through my UK business so it feels like that's the best option. Where i'm looking for guidance is if i am still on the 482 visa and working (technically) for my UK company in Australia will that acceptable in the eyes of ATO etc? Any help would be very much appreciated. The opportunity is great and will definitely open up further opportunities once i get back to the UK for contracting services worldwide. Thanks
