  1. Appreciate the replies, I definitely would be going with the migration agent route. I was just trying to determine whether my occupation would even be eligible first
  2. Hi all, I was hoping someone would be able to help clear up some confusion I have around nominated occupations and the term closely related. I’m just beginning my research so please excuse daft questions! Looking at South Australia’s skilled occupation list I see that Technical Sales Representatives nec 225499 is available for a subclass 491 visa to offshore applicants, and states; “Submit a Registration of Interest application. You must have at least 8 years of work experience in your nominated or closely related occupation.” My occupation and experience would be more likely classed as a Technical Sales Representative Industrial Products 225411. Would a positive skills assessment with 8 years experience as a Technical Sales Representative Industrial Products 225411 enable me to submit an ROI for this? I think my confusion lies in when you first submit an EOI and nominate an occupation, can you nominate a similar occupation to what you have a positive skills assessment. In this instance would a positive skills assessment as Technical Sales Rep Industrial 225411 be able to nominate Technical Sales Representative nec. Or would you nominate Technical Sales Rep Industrial 225411 and then submit an ROI as its closely related. Or lastly, am I well of track! Hope that makes sense to someone! Thank you in advance.
