PR lodged: Oct 2017

PR (187) approved: Oct 2018

Citizenship application lodged: 28 Oct 2020

Citizenship test and interview: 22 Feb 2021

Ceremony Invitation received: 15 Jul 2021

Citizenship Ceremony: 10 Aug 2021

Just an update, I called DHA and the officer instructed me to e-mail ceremony.act@homeaffairs.com

she unlinked my application from another  friend’s application and I’m finally scheduled for the August 10 ceremony

It really depends in which State / Council you applied for to how long the wait is, I took and passed in Jan 2021 and still waiting (Monash,Victoria), generally based on timelines most are taking 6-7 months from pass date to ceremony.

Well, as a rule, if you relocate after approval, 

Change address in IMMI + Call 131880 and confess. They will move your file to new place.

If you had plans to move to new address very next day, why did not you tell the case officer about your relocation? They could have moved your file to new address.

Yeah just kinda excited but yeah no point in rushing actually. 
I just moved to a new suburb 5mins from my former address, still here in ACT. 
Two other friends took the test and got approved on the same day as mine and they still haven’t got any mail so I’m assuming there’s just a backlog.

My bad, should’ve told the officer about it.

Hi everyone,

I passed my citizenship test and got approved on the same day on 22 Feb 2021.

The next day, we moved to a new address and I also notified and updated my details on my immi account. 
Until now I still haven’t got any invitation for the ceremony. I’m afraid that it was sent to my old address or am I just feeling rushed about it? As I’ve seen from the above posts, they also send a message to the immi account. Checked mine and there’s none.
I guess I’m just being too excited about my citizenship ceremony?(who wouldn’t? lol)
