  2. Hi, I just remember it was 12 months processing time. They didn’t have all the different ‘% of applications’ at the time we applied. It doesn’t matter what rights we have, you can’t just put people on a bridging visa indefinitely. How can the processing time of a visa be 34 months and potentially longer? It should be stated as a requirement of the visa when applying so that people know what they're getting themselves into.
  3. Latest update for 888 (Significant Investor): 25% of applications: 26 Months 50% of applications: 27 Months 75% of applications: 30 Months 90% of applications: 34 Months 34 months is almost 3 years on a bridging visa. When we applied it was supposed to be 1 year.
  4. Congratulations! Thanks for the update. Looks like another month for us then, hopefully before the end of the year.
  5. Hi, no not yet. What about you? (We applied May 19, 2020)
  6. Checked again...another month added... 25% of applications: 25 months / 50% of applications: 26 months / 75% of applications: 27 months / 90% of applications: 29 months
  7. It's been 26 months for us now. Every time I check the gov website they increase the processing times. Anyone else got any updates?
  8. @Marcoposo We went through the significant investor stream and withdrew our investments when we applied for PR. We went through an agency for our 188 visa but applied ourselves for 888. Did you go through the business innovation stream?
  9. Hi Marcoposo, No update yet at 22.5 months. Our friends had theirs granted at 23 months, so that gives us a bit of hope.
  10. Hi Shayamali, Sorry I haven't checked here lately. We are still waiting at 22.5 months now. Our friends had theirs granted at 23 months. What about you? Any good news?
  11. Another possible increase... 25% of applications: 25 months / 50% of applications: 25 months / 75% of applications: 26 months / 90% of applications: 27 months
  12. Once again the processing times for visa 888 (significant investor) has increased on the website. 75% of applications: 25 months / 90% of applications: 26 months https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/visas/getting-a-visa/visa-processing-times/global-visa-processing-times#
  13. @Shayamali Family friends are now at 24 months and still waiting. I just checked the gov website and they have increased the processing times for the significant investor stream to 75% of applications: 24 months / 90% of applications: 25 months.
  14. They are still waiting. I think it will take 24 months.
  15. Another family friend applied August 2019 (20 months) and are also still waiting. Yes it's very frustrating
  16. @Shayamali We applied May 2020, still waiting too. Expecting to wait another year now
  17. Hi Alex, May I ask if you're still waiting for your 888 visa? We applied about 6 months ago and was expecting 12 months processing time. Now the government website says 23-24 months. https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/visas/getting-a-visa/visa-processing-times/global-visa-processing-times#
