  1. Thank you, myself and my partner intend to spend at least the two out of five years in Australia to meet the resident return visa requirements. However the daughter won't be making a decision to live or work in Australia until after she finishes school at home. I want to try get her residency while she is still a minor so she can have the option. The five years should hopefully cover her to enter until she is 20 21. I'm worried that if she isn't on the visa with me she may not qualify for one in her own right later.
  2. Hey All, I'm looking to add my daughter to my Australian Visa application along with my partner. As my partner is not my child's mother I need to include form 1229 here her mother grants permission for my child to be in my care in Australia. Has anyone here gone though this and do you have any examples of the accompanying letter to go along with form 1229? I'm nervous that I will have only one chance to get this form signed completed by the mother and will also need it to be accepted by Immigration. P.S although my daughter will be included in my skilled visa application, she may not necessary reside in Australia with me after the initial entry when the visa is granted. I just want her to have the option to return once she is 18 [currently mid teens]. Thanks for any help you have.
