We heard that there were people on a 143 Bridging Visa, However, we have now found out that it was specific and due to Covid..... we now understand that there are now no more being issued.

Like many others we applied for a 143 visa in good faith, based on a wait time of 4 years. Now that the wait appears to be at least 12 years for us, could anybody offer any advice on whether it is more advantageous to use a 143 Bridging Visa versus the 870 Temp Visa route. We are UK residents and the considerations are: cost of medical insurance, ability to buy property, effects on pensions and so on. Any advice and suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
