  1. Hi AusVisitor, I'd be applying as a teacher and looking to teach at a similar level when I'm out there. My placement up to now has been at HE (Higher Education - 16-18 years old) level at a local College and I'd be looking to teach at the same level out there. I should have been qualified this year, but had a health issue that forced me to suspend for 6 months. I'd still be specialised within sport; teaching sports physiology, anatomy, nutrition, biology, strength & conditioning, fitness testing and sports psychology. So I'd only officially have sub-12 months at time of application by the looks of it.
  2. Hi all, I am 33 and looking to move over to Australia as my sister, her husband and my nephew are all on the Sunshine coast. I have a BSc (Hons) in Sport & Exercise Physiology and am completing a PGCE to teach at age ranges from 14+ in September. Additional qualifications are Active IQ Level 3 in Personal Training and Level 2 in Fitness Instruction, and a FdSc in Sport & Exercise Science. I'd be a single applicant and would be moving in with my sister until finding work. Realistically speaking, it would be 24 months before I'd want to be put in Aus. Experience right now in teaching is 6 months, by the time I'm qualified 18 months and by the time I'm in Aus arguably 30 months. As a PT I've worked within gyms for 3 years and I've taught Muay Thai to classes and individual clients for 17 years. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Regards Adam
