  1. Thanks for your response. I agree, prob I'm searching for a needle in a haystack.
  2. I didn't think anyone has been down on me either. I just wanted to know if anyone has moved on a 491. If no one has then why speculate? People reach out to these blogs for those that have gone through a similar/same experience. If you could perhaps provide any evidence of sabre rattling from the authorities then that would be very helpful.
  3. This is for the benefit of others who are perhaps like me, reaching out for advice.

  5. Maybe because they don't receive any advice or guidance. Just opinion.
  6. I have a job offer. Why would I forego that and leave my family behind? Why would I spend thousands of dollars doing that when I don't have to.
  7. That's the thing. I've got a job offer whilst offshore. With a relocation package. But yet still no bites from employers in my sponsoring state
  8. Right, loads of great advice there. Thanks everyone.
  9. And the implications of this? Is it enforcible if peoples situations change?
  10. I've applied for numerous roles offshore in my sponsoring state. No joy even though I'm more than qualified. I applied for another job in another state and got it. So my choice. My intention was to move to my sponsoring state but not to put myself and family in financial hardship in doing so. I would be observing the rules set out in my visa conditions. Was wondering if anyone had actually moved state.
  11. Anyone on a 491 regional visa have to move state for work?
