Hi All This is my first time posting as normally my husband has been reaching out for advice and support on our pending move to Adelaide. A bit of background being I have dual nationality (British/Australian), our 2 1/2 year and soon to be 4 year old have dual nationality through me and my husband has not long been granted a spousal visa. Exciting times ahead as we prepare to move to Adelaide in the next 6 weeks. My question is about kindergarten and the difference between UK and Australia. From what I’ve read you pay for kindergarten but struggling to find average daily rates and is their set funding in place like there is in the UK. Also does anyone have advice on; is it best to find a school with an adjoining kindergarten or do they tend to be separate? And really any general advice on starting the education journey with toddlers in Adelaide? We are not sure on location yet but if it was handed to me in a plate I would say Henley Beach whilst I think my husband is drawn to the hills (Belair, Stirling).
