  1. Hi Experts,

    Hope you all are fine.

    I applied for 186 nomination on 15th May 2019 by my employer / sponsor though a lawyer. Now it is already 9 months crossed but no feedback neither from my sponsor nor from lawyer.

    In fact, I am not directly connected with my lawyer to get immediate responses from them.

    Current timeline shows 5-6 months for direct entry,  so as I have applied for nomination on 15th May'19 is it possible to get the reply back by next few weeks?

    Please help me if you know any possible update for current 186 files.

    Thanks.

    Hi @emon_061

    It is the same as onshore, although onshore may be given a priority to offshore. As per Home Affairs website current processing time frames;

    186 Direct Entry Stream Processing Time

    • 75% of applications: 15 months
    • 90% of applications: 19 months

    However these are just indicative.  Some recent grants have shown a little as 2 months, others months to 1 year or even 2 years.

    You can create an immi account and import your application to keep an eye on it if you wish.  Simply to to https://online.immi.gov.au/lusc/login and click create ImmiAccount, fill out requested details and you will need your application reference too to complete the import.

    @sydneyishuk good day.

    Appreciate your response and information.

    In my case, the lawyer has applied for my nomination, in that can I able to see my nomination status from your given link? Though, I have my nomination application details.

    Would be very helpful if you answer soon.

    Hello Concern, my application submitted by my agent's lawyer from Australia. In this case, I have application ID and detail but cant import. If they apply can I import actually?

    Its says:

    An error has occurred

    No application matching the data entered has been found. Please check the information and try again. Note that applications submitted at offshore posts are typically not accessible through ImmiAccount.

    Please help how to know my application status.

    Thanks a lot for your feedback.

  4. Hi experts,

    I am a new member here. I want to recently how much it takes for 186 offshore nomination to be granted. I applied 15th May 2019 and lawyer said status showing "In progress" mode. Is that be changed in "Immigration lawyer assigned" like this in next phase.

    How that page look like, can anyone share the screenshot?

    It will be very helpful.

    Thanks.
