Hey mate,
I highly agree with you.
If anyone wants to discuss insurance, ambulance, medicare, they should create a new thread.
The main focus of this thread is to help others to track the timeline
Did you get 2nd Vac request? Seen couple of early March get 2nd vac request.

As I have said already, I anticipate this is an error on the part of the delegate at the PVC.
Best regards.
Hope so.
I haven't seen a case where 2nd vac was requested from offshore applicant after the budget announcement.

Hi Patience
this looks like the same guy that another member posted about on the PIO thread, page 911.
Yes it does, just wanted to highlight that this person says he doesnt have money ready as he expected more wait, on other hand people who are ready with money from 2016's are being neglected. If it is only because of corona. Then why let international students fly black to adelaide? Also covid is not caught for life. All the offshore will do quarantine like everyone else. Dont understand the logic. Just any reason to halt parent visa processing.

Immigration department being very unfair with offshore 143 applicants, made them wait 5 plus years and now not giving visas. All these families have their lives on standstill because of all these delays. Soon the medicals and police clearance for all Jan to May 2016 applicants will start to expire and will add to their cost and misery. No fair dinkum here!

14 days of receiving the letter
Has someone been able to request extension for the same? Do they decline the application if they dont hear back in 14 days?
-
how long do they give to arrange the bond? once they issue bond request letter? Thanks in advance

Advise needed please
Is it best to do identity check at centrelink before/during or after AOS application?

That’s terrible news for all applicants after 2015/16, waiting 4 years felt like a lifetime especially when you were told 18/24 months. They need to give realistic time frames so people can make an informed decision as to whether to apply or not. New applicants must be looking at more than a 10year waiting time.
Those numbers seem like total parent visas and not just 143. Non contributory seems to be included in that number.

Does this mean that the date application lodged is the one we should be looking for (to understand the timeline movements) instead of the first acknowledgment letter received by dha?
In 2016 there was a difference of max 4-5 days between those dates. Now recently its months. At least that's what I noticed.

all eyes on you now @Kathss56 for further request. Greece intuition was pretty correct about theirs. What do you feel?
-
can someone please guide regarding AOS -
While submitting AOS app online. Do you need to do identity verification before submitting? Or can be done after submitting? Just want to get an idea. Thanks in advance.

Hi Greece.
If you asked about the lodgement day, then it was 22 Feb 16 (not 12)
I actually was so surprised when I got an email as after I read your timeline I expected it would come around next couple weeks or next year...I think it came as a good surprise. Nov 15 and Dec 15 also received further request pretty quickly as compared to Sept 15. I think they need to open more files at this pace if they intend to fill 6000 places as only 4000 odd files have received request for further doc so far in this year and on average its taking 5 odd months to receive visa after getting further doc request. Then again there are lot of ifs and buts involved as mentioned on immi website.

Best regards.
off topic, since you MARA agent
One agent told me that 45000 odd apps in 143 loop. Those numbers do not include secondary applicants. Is that true?

I have been trying to fill in the AOS application in my myGov centrelink account for the past 2 days, I get to a certain stage and it tells me that the 'Service unavailable at this time' and that I should try again. I have now phoned Centrelink about it and they have said that there is a problem with the site at present and that I should download form SU594, then scan and upload it via my centrelink account online. Once I have done that, I am to call them and let them know and they will then link it up to my file so that I can still have the ability to track the application online. So, fingers crossed, here goes.
Probably their server/hard drives not able to handle the data.

I would have to agree, I can see on other places on internet that many applicants from asian countries like Vietnam, china, india from jan, feb, march 16 are still waiting on second vac while seeing May uk applicants are getting it. Thought only student visa had country levels.
