So i plan to apply for 489 visa and i want to take my de facto wife with me, but i dont quite understand the process here. will we need to apply separately for her visa and PAY additional 4000aud for it as well? up until today i thought i will just include her in my application... paying extra and (likely) waiting additional time for her visa to process AFTER mine is a huge deal for me

so i have this weird situation. my work experience consist of me being hired as a contractor for company A, but in practice i was en employee like any other and the company will be willing to provide me with a reference stating "was employed at ...". Question: will it be enough? is there a risk of ACS actually digging, checking my contract details and refusing in the end? is it possible/likely?

So the work references need to be signed on company letterhead... what exactly is considered a letterhead in Australia, what kind of requirement need to be met. i can get papers from former employer stating that i indeed used to work for them, but ive heard people saying theirs were declined because the lack of letterhead. Questions: 1. does that still happen? 2. why is it so important? 3. what requirements need to be met for the letterhead to be legit? 4. what if the company simply does not use letterheads?
