nothing has changed and the MA said that our position is a little bit complex and people with my same position(customers service manager)has been delayed

    is that true?someone else?

See below for my time line; same position as you.  Mine was also a bit more complex as I needed an age exemption.

I had also heard that CSM position had its allocation cut for this financial year, but it's a good sign that they are asking for documents.  Stay positive if you can.

    Hello Mark

I am super happy for you and you give me hope as we applied for same occupation and we are also in NSW and we are also from a lr country

did they ask you something?did they come to your work place?

we applied on the 18th of February 2019 both nomination and application and we send them all the documents but we didn’t received any news yet no email nothing at all

we are starting to worry about

    Hi Sere;

They did not come to my workplace and only asked for S56 medical/police check (because I did the wrong one initially) and another piece of info because I was applying for an age exemption in my visa application.

Check your IMMI account and/or your MA that it shows status at least "Received".

After that I'm afraid there's not much more you can do except wait.

    Yea, I'm doing that.

But I'll have to wait until Monday and I wanna see if I can get some advice before.

Here's some advice; show the employer that took the time, expense and effort to sponsor you for the golden ticket of PR in Australia the respect and gratitude they deserve and work out your two years moral obligation to them.

Unless they have in some way abused you as an employee or broken their side of the employment contract they provided as part of the Nomination application, you owe them.

I might be old fashioned though...

@Canada2Australia No, you're not entitled to work anymore than 1 job when you are on sponsorship (hence, sponsorship is only from one employer).
    - Doing this and getting found out could put you in a dire situation with regards to your visa application.

    I highly doubt that's true for a 186.

457 or any other temporary employer-sponsored work visa , for sure but not for a permanent visa like 186.

Full disclosure - I'm no expert nor am I an MA.

    Hi Guys

How long it takes to Finalize from further assessment

I'm no expert but from what I've read here it's typically 30-40 days.  However, there's apparently cases where it's been as quick as 2 days and at the other end of the scale, as slow as up to two years.

There's no guarantee on timing, we just wait.

But still you had your nomination approved in 3 days!!!it is amazing

I have no idea how this could work..how people with the same position wait 3 days and other 2 years!!!

You seem to think that this is a fair process 🙂  Of course it isn't!  Australia will take people according to the priorities it determines as best for its growth.  We all hope we fit that profile - we take a shot at the opportunity to live in this amazing country and hope that what we can offer Australia is what Australia wants.  Some years it will be one set of skill sets and experience and other years it will be other skill sets and experience.

Of course, if we meet the defined requirements we will eventually get our due consideration (and hopefully then our visa) but in answer to your concern about three days versus two years consider what you would do in Australia's place?  Would you take first come first served, or would you take what you need first and the rest later...?
