Hi, wondering if anyone has been in a similar situation. I am visiting family in the uk and usually just borrow my dads car. But my uk licence has now expired so the insurance quotes are around £500. I don’t think I can renew my licence as I am only visiting the uk. I have also looked at temporary insurance but that costs more than hiring a car. Just wondering if there is something I have missed.
