  1. Hi, I'm not sure. When lodging my tax return - there is an option to add my partner's tax return and lodge them together. Which would mean that our combined income would be assessed and the tax return would be different.
  2. Hi all, We're currently applying for a de facto visa and about to lodge a tax return. Will it look unfavourably at us if we don't lodge a tax returns together? i.e. not claim joint income and de facto status?
  3. Hi, If I'm currently on a Working Holiday Visa but am looking to switch to a de facto visa (my partner and I have been together for awhile and he's a citizen), if we lodge my application now, and my WHV runs out in about 6 months - do I lose my working rights until the bridging visa is approved? Or is the bridging visa usually issued quite fast but the Parmanent 801 visa takes about 2 years?
