  1. Hi thank you for your advice. We are still here in Perth and probably won’t be going now u til mid 2020. We will check these places out at Xmas and definitely don’t mind a do up house. Thanks again
  2. Yeah ideally whether we decide north or south we would both prefer if we are lucky enough to work near where we live rather than commute into Sydney. Went into Bowral today how cute is it there
  3. Hi we have looked at Wollongong and been down there but after reading so many negative posts that said about the drug problems there and very high unemployment we decided against it. My boys are not sure as yet as to where they will move to now. Welike the look of the cc more than south of the bridge much prettier to us. Although Wollongong was very beautiful in its scenery. It’s just so hard knowing where is right and only going on what the posts say. We live in a very quiet and safe part of Perth and as you said most things close very early even cafes at 3pm on a Saturday afternoon!! Very beautiful place but no soul.
  4. Thank you so much we are here now so will check out the suburbs
  5. Yeah it’s very slow here. We would rent out and rent in CC until it picks up
  6. Hiya we live in burbs 45 mins from city. We really struggle to find something to do every weekend not just every now and then you don’t really see anyone walking around as you have to drive everywhere here. By living in CC or around that area we are more able to go into Sydney, Newcastle etc an even Melbourne as flights are much much cheaper than flying from Perth.
  7. Hi our budget is about $550,000 we like the beach coastal living as we are near the coast atm. Also riverside living would be nice too. Perth is quiet but more so as there is not much to see and do and having lived here for 8 years we have done it all more than once. Looking forward to exploring new areas. It’s good to have a base and no that you can go elsewhere along the east coast. Hubbie is a painter and decorator and would like to work around the cc area n not commute into Sydney. Any feedback would be appreciated
  8. Hi, thank you we are still considering the central coast as I can’t seem to find somewhere reasonably price south of the river. Can I ask what suburb you live in?
  9. Hiya, Bowral sounds beautiful, can I ask where I lived in Sydney?
  10. Thanks so much think we will look south then .. is sutherland area ok?
  11. Hi, we do love Cronulla but just to pricy. I didn’t realise it would take that long to drive our price range is about 550-600 we have looked at appartments but some of the builds are really ugly lol
  12. Hi marisawright, yeah I’m still working I’m 53 n Hubbie is 57 I currently work in the hospital as a wardclerk n Hubbie is a painter, I commute an hr a day so traveling is not a problem for me. My 2 boys live in the city n they want to move cronolla but to pricy for us so that’s why we thought if central coast more value for money. We did go to have a look at Newcastle and it was lovely but just too far away from my boys. We also looked at Wollongong n was advised that there’s too much drugs etc we Have booked flights for July to have a look but just wanted some views from anyone that lived there. We are very out doors type of people so nice walks, somewhere nice to run etc and explore is what we r looking for plus somewhere where we feel safe . Thanks
  13. Hi Vicky yeah I’ve got some suburbs that’s been recommended it’s just weather the place is really quiet as I struggle with Perth trying to find new places n things to do.
  14. Hi everyone, my name is Lynn. We currently live inPerth but our 2 boys who moved from Perth are renting in surrey hills and my 3rd son is moving there also in about 2 months. We want to be near them but can’t afford Sydney prices so we have been looking at the Central Coast. As we no nothing about any of the suburbs was wondering if anyone can help. Like where’s nice n where to avoid if any. Would like to be near amenities, within driving distance to train line. What’s the overall consensus on life in the central coast. Thank you
