@Yeyebonel @ropar any reasons for the delay? Did your CO tell you something about it? Like they have to go and do a police check?
@supertoblerone my CO told me that they will do an onshore and offshore police checks. I have various places / countries that I had visited so maybe that’s why it took that long. Or maybe because heaps of people lodged their Aus citizenship app.

I’m now getting so depressed of waiting. I know I have to wait and go on with my life but there are heaps of career opportunities that I have to say no because I don’t have Aussie citizenship.

This forum has gotten very quiet.
Either nothing has happened with the applications or people have just given up with the forum as fed up with the waiting
Yeah. People got tired already of checking their immi account.

Has your online immi application status been updated to ‘Approved’?
congratulations by the way!

Approval doesn’t make you a citizen though. You are not a citizen until after the ceremony. If your employment requires citizenship then you might have a case to request an urgent ceremony though.
I know.

Hi everyone
I did my test on February in NSW, but my status still received. Please, is there any Email or phone number to ask about my approval letter. Please I need it as soon as possible.
Hopefully we will get the approval soon. I have a job offer that’s waiting for me and they can only wait until end of June.

No not yet mate.Still status"received". You should wait until you get letter. I never contacted with them and If you call Immi they will say " you have to wait"
Yes. The person on the other line wouldn’t know because it depends on the person who’s handling your paperwork.

Hi Rach,
My partner sat his test on 03/09/2018 and is still waiting for approval. He got 100% in test also. The interviewer told him that approval could take 6 months from test but its been 7 months now and still nothing. As per immi website he is still within the time frame of 16-21 months so I guess still a long wait ahead.
Hi @kirsty160990 has your partner travelled during his residency?

I did my test a month ago. the case officer told me he will perform some additional checks and told me to wait 6 months for ceremony. But my application is still received.
Any applicant from South Australia who is already approved. How many days did you waited for the approval after the test? I think regional applicants gets the test quicker but approval takes time
Yeah, same here. Told the ceremony will take up to 6 months but the approval should take 2 weeks to 2 months.
Did you travel during during your residency? I heard that they will do offshore and onshore police checks on their own.

Hi Yeyeboel,
Does the name on your passport match with the name on all other documents such as your birth certificate etc ?
Because my concern is not that the name is initialized - it is that the birth certificate has initials but the passport it is expanded.
My passport has my fullname. Not initialled.
