Hi. I wonder can anybody help. I'm a painter and decorator in the UK and have done this since leaving school. I have my city and guilds qual (20 years ago!) But not the more up to date NVQ's My wife is a HCA in our local hospital. We have friends and family living in Oz and have been looking into the emmigtation process. I'm wondering if anybody has recently had the Trade recognition assessment? What was this like? What level of qualifications are they looking for? Thanks

Thanks for info. I believe employers in Oz have to contribute into the 'Super Annuation' for their employees?? Would you happen to know if poms who have emigrated can transfer their private pension funds from UK into this? Thanks for your kind advice

Hi. Just wondering if anybody has any experience of moving/transferring their pensions from UK to Oz? Does anybody have any experience of transferring private pension pots to an Australian pension scheme. Also, I was wondering if it's possible to transfer our contributions we have made into UK state pension up to this point into the Australian equivalent? Any info or guidance much appreciated.
