Just a quick update, I received my grant on Saturday evening. Its been a hell of ride and waiting game for one whole year.

Thanks to all the active members of this forum and to all the discussions that take place here. it is really helpful for people like me.

Hey Guys,

I have a question, I have submitted all the additional Docs to MA and he has also uploaded to the immi account and I can see those docs in my imported application.

But I can see the below button under upload documents. Has my MA forgot to click this after uploading or does this appear even after clicking.

may be my question is random but i just need to know as I am waiting  for Co to have a look at it. My 28 days time for submitting will expire on 24th July anyway. 

This is more of curiosity than worry.

Hi All,

I had been asked for further docs and I have submitted everything to my MA and she confirmed that she has uploaded it on immi account and i can also see that it is uploaded.

But my question is on my immi account it still says "Action required". Is this how it shows after uploading additional docs or does this mean its not uploaded properly?

Hi All, 

Need Help!!!. I am from India and I have got a request asking for the Indian police clearance certificate that includes my previous legal name, but for what I know we get only in our current name which matches our Passport.

I am not sure as to what to do now. Is there anyone else in my situation?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks @TBO I have submitted all my docs including AFP, oveseas police check ad medicals but my immi status says still as "Received".

So lets hope to hear good news soon.

Create an account in immi(https://online.immi.gov.au/lusc/login) and after login import the application by giving some details like reference number, passport , DOB and passport issue country. Anyhow, you cannot see Nomination approved details in immi account. If any updates from CO to your application then  you can find it in immi account.

Hey Guys,

I have got a question, I have gone through a MA, and I have no visibility as to what is happening with nomination or my application.

I read some where that I can actually import the application to my immi acccount just have a look at if there any updates myself.

Is this true? I am concerned as my agent left the company there is a new agent in her place and i do not get any updates from the new agent. 

Also I am seeing many other accountants who have applied after me and got their grants or at least nomination approved.

Any advice or comments please.

First of all congratulations to PSC88 on your visa grant, happy for you.

To understand better, what can be the reason for dept to pick applications made way after than the ones made last year. is there any particular reason?

I haven't heard anything since lodging. recently I have also submitted my police checks/medicals.

I also saw another instance who submitted application on the same date as mine and dept has got back to ask for further details at least.

I am not able to get the logic behind picking up application to process.

Thanks to @Hexand @sachin1983 for your reply. I will first renew my wife's passport right away and then start with medicals and police check.

@TBO glad to know someone is on the same boat. lets hope to get nomination approved asap , in the mean while we should get our medicals and police check done so at least we have everything ready.

I am new to this forum, I have applied for my 186 DE as Accountant, Nomination was applied in Aug 2018 and my visa application in Sep 2018. I haven't got my medicals and police check done yet. I asked my MA as to when should I get all these done and I am not getting any response. Should I just wait until the nomination is approved?

With current scenario, I feel I still have another 3 to 4 months to go for any decision and  My wife's passport will be expired in Jan 2020. I read some where that there should be 6 months left on passport to get any visa. So should I be applying right away?
