Sharing my good news. After a long long journey stretching over 17 months, finally got our PR visa approved. 

I must say its all so surreal right now. It will take some time to sink in.

Beyond all the doubts and infinite patience there lies true bliss. 

I did the Champagne trick and held a bottle in my desk. Definitely some magical truth to this. Highly recommended. 

vac2 stands for 2nd Visa application charge. Visa applicants (if 18 + years and except primary applicant )  need to demonstrate they
have functional English or pay a second VAC which is around 5000$.

I got VAC2 invoice Feb last but my status stays as recieved. Last update date is changed surely. 

I was given 28 days to pay VAC2. 1 week left in these 4 weeks. 

Hope it comes soon.

Application Status Changed to Further assessment on the same day.

 

How long department normally takes to issue out Invoice and after paying how much more to wait.:).

I applied my visa on the same as yours 3 april 2018 (nomination was approved last yr Feb). I paid VAC2 on the same day it was requested 27-2-2019. 

Now waiting 20 days. My status stays as "Received" even now. Possibly because no other docs were requested. I am anxious as one of my overseas pcc expired last week.

Fingers crossed. Hoping for a grant this week ....

Hi all

Is there anybody waiting after VAC2 payment in the last few weeks. Any indication on recent 186 visa grant timelines after VAC2 payment would be appreciated.

I am now waiting 2 weeks after paying vac2 (within minutes of request). I hvnt seen any case on this forum where any other doc was requested after vac2 invoice.

 It seems there is no pattern as to how much time after Vac2 payment the visa will be granted. I hv uploaded the receipt in my immi in "other" docs. Plus the status is still showing "recieved" for me.

Hi All

I filed 186 trt last april. Got a mail to pay 2nd VAC 27 feb 2019. Nomination was also approved. 2nd VAC was paid the same day. I also uploaded the 2nd VAC payment receipt on my immi. No other docs were requested.

Any idea how much more I will have to wait before I get the golden mail. I am terribly anxious as one of my overseas PCC will expire in a few days.

24/02/2018 - visa/nomi lodged

17/12/2018 - Nomi approved (no further documents  requested)

04/01/2019 - Fucntional English Evidence of my wife requested ( I submitted it on the same day)

4/02/2019 - The CO said it doesn't meet the criteria so I can request the invoice or submit English test result. (I requested the invoice on the same day)

5/03/2019 - both visa granted. 

Its been a long waiting but it is worth to wait. So happy guys.

When did u get 2nd Vac invoice and how much time it took to get the visa approved after u had paid the same. 

I applied visa/nomination in April 2018. Got the vac2 invoice end feb 2019. Paid same day. Now waiting for a week...
