Hello, don’t worry about it! We are in the same position, as we wanted to be in QLD as I have some family who live near the Gold Coast, but our visa only allowed NSW. we hopefully plan on moving in October! Our visa has been accepted. But with getting married in September and a new born at the moment, it seemed like the best idea! When do you plan on moving? [emoji4]

Ahh yess I am aware of the distance [emoji4] it was just before we started to look at set places to live for work. I wanted to get an idea of the options available as we think it will be a massive part of why we chose an area. With our visa we have to live in NSW. But I’d travel to places in the gold coast if needed. So we are ideally looking at Tweed heads area (top of NSW) but we are willing to go as far down as Coffs. If the opportunities for our little one were better there [emoji4] sorry if I sound vague!

Are the local council ones generally expensive? Or do they run free ones? I shall start having a look at local Facebook groups too! Thanks!

Hello, We will be moving to the Gold Coast area/Byron bay/coffs harbour... later this year (October) with our son who will be around 6months at the time. I was just wondering if there was a wide variety of playgroups/sessions, where he could start to socialise and I could also meet other mums with children of a similar age! Thankyou [emoji4]
