    Hi @Kush99

    1. It is alright. The fact that your bro was 22 at the date of application and 26 at the date visa granted has answered my question already.

    2. Thank you so much for sharing such a detailed information. I am very appreciated and pretty sure many members will be benefited from your experience.

    3. In relation to aos, did you sponsor for 3 adults in total (parents and adult child)? How much income was needed for aos? As i have used the Aos checker in centrelink website which only allows me to add max 2 assurees regardless of how many assurers i have put in, so cant work out how much income needed for 3 assurees. Sorry the link was down so i cant attach it here.

I believe bank guarantee will be $30k for all three.

But please share income info you provided for aos to be approved. Approximation should be more than enough for me. I will understand if you dont want to share this info.

A big fat thank you from me.

bank guarantee  for main applicant is $10k. The second and third will be $4k each

    so totally is $10 + 4 + 4 = 18k

you need at least 2 set of aos. Because Each aos can cover maximum of 2 migrants + any dependent child under 18

When the assurer can not meet the income requirement then you can do joint aos. But there is maximum of 3 joint assurers.

income Requirement depend on your situation.

you can see the picture i add below fyi. Btw the annual nsa rate is updated twice a year and you can seach on centrelink website. It is around $16k now atm.

it’s for my sister who got 143 (dependent )she is not even married. I was checking when she gets married then when she call apply . Its for future reference don’t get upset 😊

When immi grant pr for her, if there is no condition attached to the visa then no worries. She can marry & sponsor for her partner straight away.

the condition which you have to wait for 5 yrs normally applied to the case that only 1 parent come to Aus first while their partner still living in their country. As Linda said immi know people wanna reduce the cost for both you know.

Thanks. My husband tried calling them, but couldn't get through. So hoping we can bypass the phone call and it doesn't negatively impact the application

Call them at 8am in the morning. You wont have to wait for more than 30 mins. Other time the line will b busy & they wont connect you to the aos team

  4. We received the 2nd Vac request on 17 Dec 19 and immi asked we booked the ticket  for my sister ( dependant child ) to depart Aus within 28 days

we used bpay to pay 2nd Vac on 09 Jan 19. Immi called me the same day to confirm the payment gonna through successfully and mentioned that my sister was still in Aus. They can only grant visa once she is offshore. It normally take 3 days they said.

my sister departed Aus on 13 Jan 19 ( last day of timeframe)

gluck eveybody. We knew December xmas time is very busy so it takes longer time for them to process documents. Be patient good things will come to you. Thank you everybody for such amazing help & support.

    Hi

Interview by Centrelink was held yesterday and they asked me to deposit $14000 as bank Guarante .  Any one got idea how long is the process from here ?

     Thanks

If you have receive the Bank guarantee request email, you can go to any Commonwealth bank branch to open a term deposit. Its 5 years term & roll over automatic another 5 yrs so totally 10 years

and then you use centrelink app or website to upload all the documents you receive from the bank + request letter from Centrelink

It took me less than 4 business days to get the acceptance letter. Anw now is Xmas so the process might take longer time. Gluck

It is a very interesting issue.

I don't know whether this is applicable. I just search from internet https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/visas/already-have-a-visa/check-visa-details-and-conditions/see-your-visa-conditions?product=143# and it says "You must not enter Australia before the person specified in the visa has entered Australia. This is usually the main visa holder or other relevant person such as your sponsor in the case of a Partner visa."

Yeah i searched on immi web & saw that too that’s why im very worried about now

is there any exemptions because it state “ the following conditions MIGHT BE ATTACHED to this visa “. & it is usually in the case of a Partner Visa.

Has anybody recently got their visa granted with dependant child has this issue ?

    Hi Milly,

Congrats on the good news 🎊

My family situation is similar to yours except im at the beginning line T.T I'm going to apply visa 143 for my parents and sister (19yo this year) so I wonder if my sister can be included in this application?

Someone on this forum said for my sister to prove dependency on my parents, it has to be at the time of visa grant. And given the current processing time (5-6years) my sis will be way over 23 to be considered dependent. Is this correct? I can't seem to find that info anywhere. How old is your sister atm?

Yes your sister can be included in the application at this moment.
however the main thing is she has to be dependant child until the visa grant. The processing time now is not 5-6 yrs because i read on the page 862 someone said there is over 100,000 people in the line waiting for this visa. Every year immi process about 6000-7000 visa. So do simple math if u start now u have to wait 10 yrs.

my sister was nealy 19 yrs old at the time i applied visa 143. She finished bachelor degree last year & keep continue to higher degree after that.

  8. Btw i have one more question 😀

i am wondering is that possible if only my sister ( dependant child ) depart from aus & come back to aus within 1 week because her study at uni will start soon in mid January.
And my parents will come to aus in March.

or my parents ( main application) have to travel with my sister so their visa can activate

    i think that condition is 8502 .

After being requested for further document, do people generally email them through to the PVC team as and when you get each document ready, or is it better to gather all of the required documents and send them all in one email?  So my parents have 4 police clearance certificates that they need to provide, and the form 80 etc, not sure if I should send them through as I get them?

I often gather all documents and do a *pdf file for each application.

the first page is always the request checklist ( which contain name & application number ) for each person which immi ask for so they know which document we submit.

you do not need to be rush. Well organize all the documents in order so case officer can easily access and understand. Immi staff is really slow at process the documents as they are very busy lol.

can someone please guide regarding AOS -

While submitting AOS app online. Do you need to do identity verification before submitting? Or can be done after submitting? Just want to get an idea. Thanks in advance.

If you have never ever received any payment/claim/ or any concerns with centrelink before then you have to go to local centrelink to verify your id then your aos application can be processed

if you are receiving/ received or having any claim with centrelink at this moment or in the past then Centrelink have all your details & contact. You do not need to go to local Centrelink to verify your id. You can choose to do aos online or submit the paper form at centrelink office

Can you please explain in detail,  1.  which Form to upload? (We should not fill online Form?)  2. Which Bar Code to scan? (From where we get Bar Code?)

    Hi Greece,

after you receive the Bank guarantee request letter, you need to open a term deposit at the Commonwealth bank. Commonwealth Bank will issue the account documents for you. Those documents will be about 9-10 pages.

In the Bank guarantee request letter, it say “ please provide the BG and your account documents issued by Cba ALONG WITH THIS LETTER within 14 DAYS of receiving this letter”

you can choose to upload THAT LETTER + Cba account documents online or take it to Local Centrelink office. I choose to do online because i have my gov account and Centrelink app on my phone

after sign in Centrelink app, you choose “ upload document” ~~>>> then you choose “ Centrelink form “ ~~~>>> then you choose “ scan bar code “

the bar code i am taking about is the one on the top left corner of the Bank Guarantee request letter. You use your phone’s camera to scan that bar code

next step is take a photo/ scan/ upload all the document you have

by that way Centrelink can process your document quick & accurate.

I attach some picture below FYI ( select the one I circle )

Hope that can help you. Gluck with your visa

I can see that you waited for 5 days only to have your AOS approved, what's your magic? Did you call the hotline everyday?

U should use the centrelink app to upload the document. Choose to upload centrelink form then choose to scan the bar code. It will automatically fill in the data that is assurance of support

then take a photo of all document ~~>> upload

i did that way and received the acceptance letter within 1 weeks

    Hi Milly,

    Thank you for your reply.

Also how old is she at the time of application? if  i apply for my sister when she was under 18, is the 2nd vac will be still count as dependent child under 18?

The 2nd vac will be calculated as at the time u start apply 143. So if she is under 18 u just need to pay few $k ..... not ~$43k as adults

when u apply aos if she is still under 18, u dont need to do aos for her. But if she is over 18 at the time they ask for aos then u have to do another application of aos for her.

    Hi Mily,

Just wondering do we need seperate assurer for dependant child 143? since i also apply parents visa 143 for my parents and my sister.

     Thank you!

    Hi,

if the dependent child is over 18 years old at the time they request further document & apply Aos then

yes,u do. because in 1 application of aos, there is maximum of 2 assurees and 3 assurers.

1 asurer 2 people is max so I lodged by myself for my parents, and my friend lodged by himself for my brother. We used the joint application reference number that mygov sent to me earlier. I come to centrelink afternoon again and they said they can't do anything, go home and make a call on hotline number. So stressful

    Hi,

our case r the same with yours.

im the assurer for my parents and my friend is the assurer for my sister

in the form apply for aos question 59 did you tick yes and skip question 60 ? Because it is seperate application for parents - sibling so u dont need to state detail of you friend.

if u did then it might b misunderstanding for centerlink i think
