Hi joesline thanks for your message, yes it’s easy if you have had one employer but I’m a subcontractor and have had many companies I have worked for, I’m after someone that had been in the same situation and weather I can get some advice on what to get put on a reference. thanks again for your message

Hi all, I'm new to this never been on a forum before, anyway so I have been trying for years to get to Australia, one thing or another has cropped up, and now I'm going to be 39 in march with just enough points, 65/70 at the moment depending on how many years work experience I can claim also including state sponsorship. i have dome a bit of research of the amount of companies i have worked for on and off over the years would it be safe to say i need references off all of them? What if some companies are no longer trading? The other problem is what evidence is needed to prove that I have been working in my skilled position as I have been self employed for 14 years, sub contracted and had some of my own work, anybody been in the same situation? Anybody have experience with writing references for skilled migration? Thanks for reading and any help would be much appreciated
