  1. G'day, As far as I know, you do not need AHPRA registration for 189. Just skill assessment. That's the case in nursing.
  2. To those who have the same enquiry; I have consulted an registered migration agent and received this: You can lodge the 189 and have both applications processed concurrently, It is likely that your 485 would be finalised first, if so then 485 will cease automatically when the 189 visa is approved. Thank Iscah team for this message.
  3. What sort of assessment? Modified? Modified Plus? full? Do you claim work experience? What time did you submit because they do have holidays? Mine was Modified skill assessment with no work experience. Graduated from an Australian Uni. took me 16 days
  4. Hi, I got my positive assessment through modified assessment in December. The cover letter is only for post applications. If you are applying online, just submit the documents they ask in the checklist. I sent my graduation documents, ID documents, registration details, that's it. Took less than 3 weeks. Good luck
  5. Hi all, I graduated in December and submitted my temporary graduate(SC485) application. Surprisingly, my skill assessment was finalised super quickly and I submitted my SC189 EOI in the same month. I received invitation for SC189 yesterday. I am ready to apply for 189, however, my 485 application is still being assessed. Has anyone experienced the same issue? If so, would you mind sharing your experience with me? What would you recommend me to do? Thank you.
