    Hi all,

Do you know anyone that got their visa with expired police checks? I mean over 4 months expired..

    Thank you.

Hi @Duda, In my case my Indian PCC was expired on Feb 1st and PR granted on Mar 23rd, No PCC asked for as part of further documentation. But I have uploaded My AFP as soon as it expired (Feb 20th). Hope that helps.

  2. This is 5th time, last updated date changed to "23/03/2019" in my immi account, but this time with status 'finalised' .

Further documents were requested on 20/03/2019 as per below

For Visa (provided on the same day):

    -  Any 6 Pay slips from last two years

    -  Last two PAYG summary

Few more docs requested for nomination, which were provided on 22/03/2019

Both nomination and visa granted on 23/03/2019.

refer to my signature for the details

Thanks heaps to everyone in this forum who helped me in stay strong during this wait period.

  3. Guys, Anyone had this situation.

Last updated date in immi account changed three times so far, but status is still received. No correspondence from department. Response from MA is "despite of date change, no communication from immi. Will keep monitoring ur application and let you know if any further updates received." Currently the last updated date shows "04 Feb 2019".

Sorry guys, I'm new here. Where can I get the spreadsheet link to check out processing time for the ones that already got a granted Visa?

    My situation is

    Ocupation: industrial design

    186 transition applied: 02/11/2018.

    No of people: 2

Update: it haven't been opened as yet

It is only my impression or have the processing time being reducing since last year?

Here is the link to spread sheet (also accessible from the tab Visa Timelines --> ENS 186 Timeline, located at the top of the page)

Yeah looks like it with no change to processing times.

I always use the following link -

    https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/visas/getting-a-visa/visa-processing-times/global-visa-processing-times

Does have contradicting dates - see both circles in red. Maybe just in the process of updating.

You could be right. May be the date at the bottom is something related to web site not specific to the time lines.

Nope - I don't think so. If you use the 2nd link (immi link), you'll see that 186 represents both streams:

Don't think so Mate. As per the below two links

below link(Eligibility Criteria for DE) clearly says occupation must be in the relevant list

    https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/visas/getting-a-visa/visa-listing/employer-nomination-scheme-186/direct-entry-stream#Eligibility

Where as this link (Eligibility Criteria for TRT) just says must have the required skills and qualifications for the position you have been nominated for.

    Ok that's good then.

Thanks heaps for all your prompt responses Guys. Got same response from my MA, as long as you hold a 457 and nominated for 186 TRT with same occupation as per your current 457, the lodgement is valid and not to worry. I have just imported my application in immi account and it is showing last updated date as 21 Nov 2018 and submitted date as 21 May 2018, also my MA confirmed that He has not done any updates to the application from his side. Hopefully thats a good news.

    Short-term Skilled Occupation List (STSOL)

"There is no separate STSOL list on our website as visa programmes that utilise this list can also access some additional occupations on the MLTSSL. For ease of reference, we have combined both the STSOL and the eligible MLTSSL occupations  together. See: Combined list of eligible skilled occupations.

You must nominate an occupation on this Combined list of eligible skilled occupations if you are applying for any of the below:

    Removed occupations

On 19 April 2017, 200 occupations were removed entirely from the STSOL.

See: List of the removed occupations

A further 16 occupations on the MLTSSL (indicated by ‘** asterisks’) were restricted to only apply to the following visa programmes:

See: Medium and Long-term Strategic Skills List (MLTSSL)

If your occupation has been removed from the list, you will be impacted if:

If you already hold a subclass 457 visa, you will not be impacted by these removed occupations unless you apply for a further subclass 457 visa or are changing your occupation or employer.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi mate, I just copy n paste this from previous post. By my understanding, it would affect 186 Direct Entry only. Please check the last line which said if you already hold 457, you will not be impacted.

Not too sure, please contact your MA and let me know the outcome as my occupation was removed as well.😨

Sure Mate. I will update you as soon as I hear from him.

As far as I'm aware, if you're profession has been removed then you shouldn't be able to apply for a visa (especially if you are using an MA).

However, I'm not 100% on this - although it does seem like anything after March 2018 would be affected. I agree with @ajk, in that you should contact your / a MA to confirm and look at alternatives.

Thanks guys. I have just emailed my MA. will see what He says.
