Sorry to hear you got nomination rejected. But they should give you a reason.  Even it’s a stupid reason. Can I ask what’s your occupation ?

I just got nomination refused as retail manager the reason was supervisor not manager. We are franchisee.

The reason given that my roles and responsibilities doesn’t seem to be of restaurant manager. I am more like head waitress in the restaurant. It was refused this year January. My employer is supporting me and willing to provide everything needed. I am working since day one and have everything as needed still got rejected. The immigration actually visited our premises while I was working and interviewed both me and my employer. After the interview, they sent us the refusal. 

I have applied for AAT and waiting for hearing. 

If anyone have got any suggestion, I will be really grateful.

Congratulations ! I just got nomination refused. I am still thinking if I should go for AAT . Need to ask the lawyer how big the chances are.  The reason is retail supervisor not manager

I got a bad news today my nomination got refused today. I got a call from my migration agent around 12:30pm about my nomination refusal and I asked him for the email which he got from immigration about refusal and he denied to send me that, he said that its confidential its related to the business not to the applicant .

I checked my immi account after 9 hours and the status still shows received, nothing changed. I'm bit worried and confused . Anybody been through this situation please reply.

Nov 2017. Visa application.

Dec 2017. RCB approved.

June 2019. s56 AND border security came down to my workplace to check if I work there.

3rd Aug 2019. Nomination approved. Request for medical, AFP check, form 80.

10th Aug 2019. Medical, form 80 Completed and submitted. AFP submitted a couple of days after.

31st Aug 2019. 187 GRANTED this afternoon!!

They asked for more documents about my nomination. I am kind of worrying cause we are franchises shop.  And they reject a lot of retail managers.  But thank you for answering and again congratulations!

Hey, I am sorry to hear that. I am actually also retail manager, I work in a franchise shop. They’ve opened my file so the result should coming soon. I am kind of worrying that they might use the similar reason to reject mine.  Can I ask did they ask for more documents before they refuse your nomination?

Hey, congratulations about the nomination! I was asked to provide more documents today, I think we might need to wait at least 2 weeks . But you only waited 4 days and you got the results

Hence 2 years to 1-year approx time ratio as if AAT and 187 processing time difference. But I need at least  2 to 3 months time in order to lodge 187 form today Registration with IELTS 7 each.

How can they assessed that you will not be preforming the full role of a retail manager? Is it because they came to the shop and did the investigation or because the job description your MA wrote was not good? I mean, he assessed based on what? On his own imagination?

Hey, if the employer is not cooperating or being hard on you now, then even if you got approved, you still have to suffer this for 2 years.  That’s kind of torturing you.
