I'm at the very early stage of looking into emigrating to Australia (Adelaide) under a 190 or 489 VISA, and have plenty of points to do so. The big stumbling block seems to be my health. I have Cystic Fibrosis, which will obviously last for the rest of my life. Does the reciprocal medical arrangement between the UK and Australia come into play here, or is it only for short visits? My health is generally good, and I have a full time job and would expect to have a full working life ahead of me as my CF is well controlled. Any info would be very gratefully received, as I don't want to go through the expense of the skills assessment, medical and visa application only to find I could never have qualified due to my health.
