Hi there, we recently returned to UK after being in Australia for 8 years. We have been told by a financial advisor that we will have to wait at least two years before we can apply for a mortgage as we won’t have a credit rating and that we also need to have had a uk address for 3 years. Is anyone else encountering this problem?
