  1. Congrats to y'all for making it through 2019 and for all the remaining ones yet to hear back from immi!

We are almost there, hang on our time will be coming too!

A friend was given 28 days to provide its health check which he did and police clearance, however the police clearance is taking longer and as such, the 28 days will come to an end very soon... is there a possibility to request for an extension and show that he requested the certificate from his country?

Any info I could pass on to him would be great, he will be reading you guys.

    Thanks heaps

  3. Hi all,

I have lodged my RCB beginning of Aug, officer requested more info in Sept, and since its been a month I have got no news.

I know most of you have got their RCB approved and are at the visa stage, but has anyone of you been through this? I really thought RCB process was straight forward, but I was indeed wrong.

I wont lie, am really worried cause am left with only 4 weeks to apply for the visa (I am also aware, am wasting time cause I can apply for it now, but my lawyer recommended me to wait and apply it all at once, once this is approved). I am just scared if i lodge now, and this come negatif, what will I do.

I am applying from NT, would anyone know whether they are under the pump cause 187 is coming soon to an end?

    The wait is killing me.

    Thanks folks!

    Hello friends...

Today I have to leave this forum page.
My nominations got rejected - no reason given.

But I want all of you to give me good news.
It was a wondeful journey with all of you.
    Will miss you all.

    Sorry for bad news..
And yeah one more guy applied with me also
    got rejected ..same no reason

    Dont loose hope..
    God is there..
May you all get PR emoji1374.pngemoji1374.png

    Hi Rajat,

I dont know you but can understand how disappointed you might be. I really feel you as I got my position redundant once while going through my first sponsorship. Life can hit hard at times but it does not mean thats it the end. You must try again, but do it the right way, use your skills and competences to get there. Do not give up. Failure is fine, but giving up isnt..

    Wish you the best..

    Hi all;

RCB got refused but The company had positive RCB 2years ago for the same position.

RCB has validity for 2years only.

Anywys MA wants to apply for nomination with negetive RCB saying there is a strong chance of the negative rcb not affecting the nomination decision (i dnt understand how)

has any one got nomination approved without positive RCB?

    much appreciate your response.

    Hi faisal,

On which ground was your Rcb refused?

Could you please give more info.

That's perfectly fine, we are all here to help one another, I am attaching a word doc. on your private message. You can get a good understanding as I used a similar letter for my job. The other thing is that this visa shuts down in mid November, so as long as you submit your visa application, the rest can follow in due course of time even after November, you will still be fine. I respect all those who are doing it tough and still doing the right thing, its frustrating to see people who are getting in through the back-door doing all dodgy stuff like paying the employers to sponsor them and other heaps of fake stuff and still getting their visas but people who are genuinely applying through the right channels are getting refused. I hope you get your application sorted...all the best!!

This member deserves an award! Genuinely helping around and reassuring everyone in this forum... May God always protect you and help you in your life!

    Thank you very much again!

Your salary sounds alright for your job and location. The median salary for an export coordinator in 58k but you have to take into consideration that you are in a regional area...so all you need to do is explain this in a formal letter on the company letter head and give a parallel example of the same occupation and salary according to payscale, Glassdoor or seek and that should be acceptable by the department. If you want me to draft a letter for you let me know, I'll send it to you in a private message.

Thank you so much Mark. If you could please draft me something so that i can have a look at it please.

I am a bit stressed to be honest, as this visa comes to an end by end of October and I still havent lodged yet. Btw, I had to start all over again as the first time I got sponsored, my employer had my position redundant, so am just really mentally drained and exhausted with all the stress and worries I am going through at the moment. On top of all money spent Immi has made it so tough for us while we are just trying to do it the right way. I am not giving up yet, but just really tired with all honesty.

    Goo Morning Everyone,

I have been reading / following this blog for a while now

Recently i have received my Nomination Approval. I was just wondering, how long usually it takes from nomination approval to visa decision ?

    My Timeline :

    RCB Jan 8 , 2018

    VISA and Nomination Lodge : 31 Jan , 2018

    Nomination Received : 22 Aug 2019

Occupation : Hotel Service Manager ( NT )

I have done my medical couple of months ago , Immigration did not ask for any other documents like AFP clearance or anything else.

If you guys have any information please comment.

    Regards

    Hi there,

Can you please advise how long it took for your RCB to be approved in NT?

Just trying to get a rough idea on waiting time.

Anyone applied in NT, please drop a text and advise too 😁

    Help !! Help!!

I have been working with my empLoyer since more than 2 years. I applied 187 DE december 2017 but from that time my empLoyer is giving me salary through bank but not a single payslip i got from him. In 2016-2017 he paid only $5000 tax and this year he didn't paid any tax till now. And there is not a single penny of superannuation he deposit in my super account. Now will this matter effect my PR nomination and visa application ?

    THANKS

    Hi legend,

That sounds illegal to me to not pay any of your superannuation or tax. Just contact anonymously fair work and check with them that would be my recommendation (dont mention you are getting sponsored) just get to know if this is correct what he is doing or not..

    Hi everyone,

Just want to get some information if any one could help me or give me suggestion regarding my case. I have lived in australia for 9 years and i came back to my home country in the year 2017 august. While i was in australia i got my rcb approved in may 2017 and i have applied rcb and nomination together, september 2017 i have lodged my pr application position (hairdresser nsw region) and i have submitted my medicals, police clearance, business documents etc. So far its been 15 months and file hasn't open and i have no idea how long its going to take. I got married six month ago and my wife is studying masters 1st year and i am planning to apply her student visa but i have no idea is it worth applying? Do i get the visa or not?  If  anyone can give me suggestion regarding my case will be great.

    Thanks

If I were you, I would suggest your wife to hold on her studiesuntil you get PR as she wont have to pay for international fees but resident fees once you get pr.. trust me the difference is huge.. the double if i am not wrong..

  11. Hi all,

I have called immigration today to get some info on how applications are being process and if indeed it is being done out of order (timeline). The lady has confirmed to me that it is a case by case situation and it is regardless of which month/year you have applied, as some people that have applied after you can get their visa being processed before yours and vice versa..

In other word, it is really depending on your luck once you have applied and have given all the evidences they request. Your turn can come like tomorrow or it can come in 25 month as per their processing time..

This news might comfort some. My advise is as follow:

    -> KEEP UR HOPE HIGH

    -> PRAY A LOT

-> LIVE UR LIFE UNTIL IT COMES

as what is meant to happen will happen not matter what! PR isnt a free ticket to paradise, yet it is important but we should not give it that much of importance after all!

Live your life and stay positive..

Hi guys, my nomination has been approved today, in this morning without asking any further documents for nomination, my employer got call yesterday and been asked for qeniune need, why they are not looking after their business

    Why they need manager?

From me they asked my kids passport clear copy, and my name evidence I used my father's last name on marriage certificate but did not have on any other legal document. I don't know what I should do

Congratulations! what was your occupation and your visa nomination timeline please? which state?

Look, to be honest, there is no such guideline which tells you where's your time starting from an end etc. if you look closely on this forum you will find out immi is not following any order. some people got approval or decision within 16-18 months and some like me sitting on 27th month.

so don't bother to find out where is your time starting from....just sit back and PRAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYY

Ahahahah just sit back, chill and pray ? Could not put it any better ??
