  1. so if we go the working holiday visa once he has done all the specific work and done 3 years can he apply for another visa to stay?

Does UK passport holders still need to do 3-6 ,months pacific work or can he work in kalgoorlie at a mine site for all the 12 months?

  2. Hi low down

    im Citizen Husband is PR

Step son has no trade or skills like i mentioned his work had messed his apprenticeship up in his 1st year.

He just went home from having a holiday here and liked it so wants to come over and see the work load is.

We can get him an apprentice as soon as he has a PR. He dose live with his mum back home but we were going to do his visa application here in australia as onshore so he would have no sort of income what so ever.

The visa im looking at says under 18, between 18 and under 25 in full time study or over 18 cant work due to disability well hes none of them. but would the over 18 and dependent let us apply for this visa onshore

    tahnks

  3. We were thinking of applying whilst he was in Australia. We wanted him to do this before 18 but he only just came over for his first holiday now he wants to come work soon. With him having to be dependant is that just till the visa is granted? Thanks

  4. Hi looking to know what visa my stepson would need to apply for who is 18 to come live with his dad and me in wa. Thank you im a bit confused between reading some of the visas. Would probably be onshore application.

  5. As the time you are doing the application its what age they are when first payment is taken. Dosnt really matter if he's 18 after it for second payment as it not much found the payments 1110 for under 18 and 2000 odd for over 18.

  6. When it comes to explaining the situation on paper and researching on everyone's experiences and what to write on paper shes better to explain things so in that note she understands a lot of things thats getting explaind on these website than me. So yeah she has a better understanding. Thanks

  7. Yeah no one said it would be easy... i know it won't my sister has been doing this for her husbands pr for 2 years so she has a bit of an inside what they look for ect.. im just looking for some some other people thats went through and ideas and help.

  8. Yeah an immigration agent is out of the question its far to much money for us.  Im just trying to get as much info as possible. It was the homeaffirs that suggested to do the paper application and provid every peice of documents evidance and to write a letter explaining our situation

  9. with personal ties could that be showing evidence of my sister, husband and her children living in australia and them being citizens as she was born their. Also my dad and half brother and sister. Also with me living their for 7 years till I was 8 years old and my parents spliting up that it was my fault that I left before having my citizenship then growing up and having children that had relationship with his dad so that's my compelling reason in staying in scotland as well as my family was their mum and my sister and her kids  now she has moved back to australia we want to move back as well as we're a close family also.

    Any suggestions please.

It all depends on the specific circumstances and there is no "one size fits all" answer to RRV questions, especially when travel facilities have lapsed, or there has been a long absence from Australia.

I recently obtained an RRV for a client who had not held Permanent Residency for over 20 years.

The details are very important in such cases and well researched advice, specific to the case can be invaluable.

My mum and sister is applying on paper so we can send written evidence of the situation and all verified documents too. Would you advise on us doing anything else. We've been told their is no bother them getting it but need to find the grant number of the previous pr which we cant. Been told to search the australian archives from 1982 but were still applying to see if they get it.  Thanks

  10. My husband was on a 600 and ran out in may. But we got our email in march for him to leave australia cause they were ready to grant him his visa but he could due to boarders being closed so we then applied for another 600 waited 3 months no need for medical he got granted 4 days before he was flying back to uk to leave for his parntner visa to be granted was gutted as i just filled out the refund form. He was in the uk 3 days and got granted his temp visa followed by hid permanent visa returns in Friday for 2 weeks quarintine. Plenty of people are still getting granted their visa onshore and off.

  12. hello my mother was a permanent resident in 1982 back then my mum dad and sister were on a family passport and they were all permanent residents.  I was born here in 1985 I now live her with my husband and kids but my mum and sister are looking to return on a rrv. My mums rrv with my sisters name on it ran out in 1997. We have called and no one can find their grant number due to not having the old passport. Can any one help in how we would go about i  applying for a new RRV  without having the details of the permanent resident visas. Thanks.

I am the same here I’m on a 600 and had my email to leave. I had flights booked to NZ. Looks like they are going to allow travel to NZ fairly soon and some Pacific islands possibly. I’m not sure when but maybe in the next 3/4 months. I’ve got until September until I’ll need to do more documents.

Same we booked Bali but canceled. Yeah we heard that they may allow flights to nz hopefully. Its just a pain we have till June before more documents but I freaked out and we got told that the documents and visa is on hold so may the medical police check etc might give us a few months extra when expired.

  14. Hey everyone just wondering if anyone is in the same position as me and my husband. We're currently in oz me and kids have our australian passports, but my husband can here on a visitor visa got his email to leave to be granted his 309/100 and we booked him to Bali for 5 days then of course it got canceled. Now with everything trying to get back to normal here in oz WA he wants to try and leave and come back so he can work does anyone have any info that there came across and managed to leave to come back. He's currently now on a bridging visa waiting on another visitor visa.... bloody more money tip to anyone here applying for another visitor visa again the price goes up from $100 odd dollars to $365 it's shocking money after money...

  15. Yeah my husband is and he's to leave so wee booked a flight to Bali for Friday and sir Asia cancelled it. Apparently the government is aware of this but their is nothing in place. My husband's medical and police check run out in July and was told they can't freeze it and he will need to do his medical and police e check here and then upload again and wait to be told to leave again. Spent all day yesterday on the phone utter nightmare

  16. Hi just wondering if anyone can help. My husband is coming over on his visa 600 and to Australia today and was wondering if I need to let immiaccount know change of address or details has anyone else done this before.

Thanks. And congrats to everyone receiving their visas we have had no to as yet or a visa grant but fingers crossed something will happen soon. 🇦🇺🦘
