  1. Has anyone had experience with this? Looking at the requirements I’m thinking it’s not worth applying for but just want to ask. Mother in Law in her 60’s both sons live in Australia one a citizen one on has PR. She is divorced for many years. She lives in U.K. and has a sister there and many siblings in N.I. Does this mean she doesn’t meet the requirements? Any idea of the longest stay visa we can get her even if it’s temporary. I looked at the 12 month visitor visa but from what I can tell she has to leave Australia every three months. I’m a bit crap at interpreting so apologies if this is a simple process. TIA For any help
  2. Yes I understand we will get a reply from BUPA. I was trying to establish if the other processes were taking place or if it stops now then when we give them results it resumes and could therefore take another however many months xx
  3. Because that’s how long TB test results take.
  4. Hi Dies anyone know how the visa process works in these circumstances. We are undergoing further medical tests. I am trying to establish what is happening to our visa now. Does the visa get paused until they receive the answers to the medical queries or do the rest of the visa processes carry on and then if the medical results are acceptable it can be granted. Our labour agreement requires us to travel on 1 October but we cannot give them results they require until mid August. There appears to be no way to contact the Border Department as all emails bounce back automated response and state the telephone number will not be answered. Does anyone have any suggestions for contacting them? Thanks for any help you can give.

    Visa process

Hi Does anyone know how the visa application process works please? We are applying for a 186 and awaiting some medical results which will take 8 weeks. I’m trying to establish if the rest of the visa checks will be done in this time or whether it is now halted and upon the medical results being approved it then carries on in the process, or if they are satisfactory then everything has been done and it is granted. Thanks for any help
  6. Hi Does anyone know if this condition can result in a visa being denied or does anyone have any experience of being granted a visa with this condition? If so did you have to wait for X-rays etc to be clear? What kind of wait did you have for the visa to be granted and did you need further testing?background: CXR and CT scan show what they think is mild (symptomless) sarcoidosis in a fit and healthy middle aged man. Got respiratory consultant on Wednesday for all the required tests. GP says nothing to worry about health wise shouldn’t require treatment should go away on its own. Wonderng if I should prepare myself for no visa.
