Hi there, I am having a situation which I hold a 457 visa and was granted June 2016. I am about to lodge for Transition Stream 186 visa for my PR. Unfortunately, due my my employer is restructuring on the business shareholding in the company, they will now setting up a new company with new ABN (but the main shareholder is still the same it is just some investors buying into the company. Business and venue still remain at the same and my position as Marketing specialist still remain status quo). So, I was wondering in my position will it be effected for my 186 visa application? Would I need to apply a new application under the TSS which doesn’t give my pathway to PR knowing that I have been with the same sponsor for 2 years. Would there be a ‘switch over’ In my case only just the ABN change where it will not treat my application as a fresh application under the new TSS which does not grant me pathway to PR. Kindly advise and thanks.
