    I’d say it is.

If you work full-time with the sponsoring business you are showing they really need you (position is existant and they can afford to pay you) and your chances are much better than being employed elsewhere.

Also is better for you to start working there full-time (contracted) as it will count towards the 2 obligatory years.

    Good luck.

    Agree ?

But for example when the application is offshore then what? employee won't start working until visa is approved so how can they assess if they really need it or no?

in other places the employment contract states that the commence date is upon visa approval, so again here what? ??

    HI, Guys need your suggestion.

Applied RCB, VISA, Nom 03 June 2016.

file open 13 June 2018, request docs, submitted on 03 july.

Further docs requested 18 July, AFP, Medical, Paying for visa form. Everything is ready to go by 03/08/2018.

    Nomination approved today 02/08/2018.

    Now............

when i applied for 187 i was single.

in January 2018 I got married, I didn't add my wife in my application. However, add her as a dependent.  When i got married my agent suggested me don't add your wife in application yet as things are very rough/tough and wait until nomination approved then we will apply for her visa.

on 18th when case officer asked for AFP and Medic etc. she asked for the marriage certificate AND asked whether i want to add my wife in the application or not.

SO MY QUESTION IS SHOULD i add my wife in my application now OR SHOULD I wait for my PR first then apply for her visa.

i am sure as soon as i submit final requested docs, in next 2,3 days i will get my PR.

and if i apply now for wife visa how long it will take for PR.

    Thanks

My advice is to add her now. I don't think it will affect much the processing time.

Plus the CO should understand that in 2 years they take to give an answer many things can happen to the applicant either get marry or have a kid so just do what you need to do.

    Good luck ?

Guys can you tell me is Nominations a harder stage or Visa for an applicant point of view?

I'd say nomination harder,  actually is the only thing worries me about once that one is approved there is no reason for visa refusal (of course that will depend on your records, but if you have follow the rules, nothing to worry about)

Thanks mate!! I understand what you want to say. But my situation is my owner is selling the business, not the company. The new owner may change the business name and put the business under his company name. But my owner assured me that they not gonna close the company and ABN as well. Can you please enlighten me according to this situation .

    Thanks

If you continue working for the company with same ABN then you should be alright, but if you going to work for the new business owner (that probably has its own ABN already) then you gonna be in trouble, you need to ask more info to your boss regarding the terms of the sale and i suggest visit your MA. Hope all those changes don't affect your visa tho,,, ALL THE BEST ?

Wait a second, sorry my bad. Refugee is better than me - a top graduated student from the Sydney University.   I am just a nobody begging to live in this country, they can do anything to me. I am sorry.

i don't think he meant it in a bad or discriminatory way. i can see your frustration, just cheer up, this is not the end, you should get your reward soon.

out of interest, did you do an undergrad or postgrad in Australia? did you apply through an accounting firm? did you get your CPA? did you have to take the ielts test? if so, how much did you get? why didn't you apply through usual skilled immigration back in 2014 instead of choosing to wait 2 years? wasn't it easier back then for accountants? i have mates like you top graduates with impeccable English test and qualification got it reasonably easily and quickly through 2014 to even last year via just skilled immigration. it's still possible. me on the other hand, just couldn't get through the English test.

    Agree.

Oscar is right is someway, sometimes i feel the same. As if Australia prefers refugees or people that comes here to do the bad thing ie: not follow the rules, work in cash, students that don't follow the approved works rights, etc etc.

But everyone here, hard working and skilled people are treated like we are the bad thing happening to this country and it doesn't make any sense to me

Based on the recent nomination refusals, I still cannot figure out why:

    1. 457 approved for the employee and the employee has been working for more than 2 years before applying for 186. But 186 nomination refusal reason is the company does not need that employee in the next 2 years. So why 457 approved in the first place? On what ground they think the company does not need while the company does need?

    2. The company affords to pay 457 for years and they said the company does not afford to continue paying for the next 2 years (with a condition that the company still show good profit)

    Can anyone help to explain?

    OMG my thoughts exactly!

if someone have been paid for the past 2 years and the employer requested the 186 is because indeed they need the employee, no-one is going thought this process just for fun because it cost TIME and MONEY.

Also some CO think they are business experts, honestly if they know that much what are they doing working for immi department? go open your business with your theatrical business ideas taken straight from a book GEEEZ let the business do their business don't come up with silly refusal reasons ?
