You didn’t get verification call till now? Have you inquired why is that? Did you apply yourself or through agent?
I have almost completed my 16 months of waiting time. I really hope our visa grants arrive before this month ends.

Don't worry. There is no separate queue for people married longer. The only difference is that if you have been married/de facto for 3 years or more (2 years if you have kids) you get the 100 at once, otherwise you get the 309 first
Thanks for clear thing for me and yes we have been married for 4 years and we have 4 kids I'm kinda realive because you explain it well now I'll be waiting patiently

It isn't different. It doesn't matter how long you have been married, that does not affect the processing time.
Thank you I was worrried when they sed it different for old couples

The processing time is different for old couples but if you are newly married, you will get visa with in 12 months
Why is it different it the same money we paid..plus living apart for so long it just too much

My wife applied 309 in May 22nd 2017. And all medical and police checks have been done. I have still been waiting too. I have a child too. I have been contacted to immi heaps of time thru email. They always have same reply " application is still undergoing mandatory checks. Very very disappointment.

Is it possible that you lodge your application in June 2017 and haven't had any interviews or anything yet? It has been 15 month and I'm so frustrated
-

Their issue is that if the person is onshore on a visit visa and the partner visa is refused, then the person will simply overstay the visit visa and not go back home.
They won't make a decision on your partner visa until you return home if you in Australia on the time they will contact you to leave the country before they make a decision so they usually gives u 7 days to 14 days

They said that you will not come back due to economic crisis of Pakistan and also you have more opportunities there in Australia etc etc. They usually do not grant visit visas to Pakistani applicants.
But they shouldn't think like that as your partner visa is still processing and no one will overstay a visiting visa while waiting on partner visa because everyone know their partners visa won't grand if u overstay a visiting visa
Timeline (309-Spouse visa) applied in May?
