I think if u got visa before the rule changed still It’s not 5 dear. But if u have 5 years regular study in English medium then its an exemption for 6 each.

One of cook on this page  he applied on 28  august and he got nomination grant and waiting for visa. I applied 22 august. Still waiting.  I think immi. Slow related cook profession. 

Hi, I lodged my nomination on basis of sponsor 186 visa as a cook on 29th June 2018 and still waiting. Anyone going through this situation or any idea that how long they are taking for nomination or visa applications? Thnx

Check your previous certificate and write the time period excluding gap between different study period. It should equivalent to 5 years English medium study including overseas study if u done in English medium.
